# 4609 Default Expressions for DECLARE SQL/PSM Statements Not Being Properly Type-Checked

If you specify a default expression for a DECLARE statement that does not match the type of the declared variable, the parent routine will prepare/compile without issue when it should cause a type error.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 1/10/2017 in version 2.27 build 1
