# 4325 TDataSet AutoEdit Setting Interfering with Programmatic Updates to DataSet

The AutoEdit setting of the datasets seems to have a problem. In Delphi and EWB 1 I set autoedit=false to avoid the user can damage a field by accident; then when I edit "on request" and issue an .Edit on the dataset I can modify fields.
In EWB 2, if I set AutoEdit:=False and then call dataset.Update, I'm not able to edit unless I first set AutoEdit:=True again.
