# 179Unique Secondary Index Flag is Allowing Non-Unique Index Keys Even though a secondary index is defined as unique, records with the same value in the index fields can still be posted to the table without an exception being raised.
CommentsIf you are experiencing this problem you need to make sure to download CNVT101.ZIP from www.elevatesoft.com and run this conversion utility for all data files that contain unique secondary indexes. This utility will not harm data files that do not contain unique secondary indexes, the utility will just ignore these data files.
