# 206Blob Files Not Properly Reclaiming Deleted Space From Edits and Deletes there may be a problem with free space not being reclaimed in blob files. I have to check this out further, but after repeatedly running a single copy of my test program, it seemed that the blob file just kept getting
significantly bigger after each run even though the last pass in each run deletes most of the records
Comments and WorkaroundsBLOB files were bleeding one BLOB block per Edit or Insert operation. A restructure of a data file will remove these errant blocks and compress the BLB file size back to normal.
