# 279 Repair Functionality Not Detecting and Dealing with Recursive BLOB Pointers Properly

I haven't had any luckconverting from 1.07 to 1.09. See the attached datafile. If you edit this database table (with attention to record where ID=180 and record where ID=490) changes to field"EVENTMSG" are reflected identically in both records.

Repairing the table using the DBISAM desktop hangs at 82% on a PII 350M NT machine (256Mb RAM). Originally repairing with 1.07 didn't fix the problem.

Comments

We are not sure how this problem occurred yet, although we are investigating the problem thoroughly. The repair functionality has been improved to trap for this condition and repair it.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 2/1/1999 in version 1.10 build 1
