# 481 Delphi 2.00 Version of DBISAM Causing Interface Mismatch Errors When Installing

I noticed that even though the components are installed, they still seem to be using the BDE as the Alias details still come up. This explains why I can't open .dat files as the components are looking for valid BDE data files.

Also, if I try to add other components now I get the error message "c:\program files\borland\delphi 2.0\lib\dbreg.pas(22) unit DBLookup was compiled with a different version of DBgrids.
