# 1375 Colons in Strings Are Being Interpreted Improperly as Parameters in SQL Statements

Colons in the strings in sql to be written via an INSERT query and probably an UPDATE are parsed as parameters. This happens for strings into string fields or strings into blob fields.

Comments and Workarounds

Problem caused by TParams.ParseSQL method. This is fixed in the upcoming V4 release.
