# 1553 Dropping the Primary Index in a Table Using the DROP INDEX SQL Statement Causes an AV

Here is another a.v. raised in dbsys while restructuring a table. After this, dbsys gets unstable.

DROP INDEX SRNOMPLA.PRIMARY;

Comments

This bug could also cause the indexes to become corrupted and need repairing.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 1/23/2004 in version 4.03 build 1
