# 1604 RemoteLoginDialogProc Being Called Even Though It Is Not Assigned and Causing an AV
The RemoteLoginDialogProc is being called even though it is not assigned due to the DBLogDlg unit not being included in Delphi 6 or higher code. The result is an AV when a connection is made to a remote database server.

Comments Comments and Workarounds
The workaround was to include the DBLogDlg in the USES clause for the main form or data module in the application.
