# 1698 Compiled Linux Versions of DBSRVR and DBCMD Database Servers Limit Number of Connections

The compiled Linux versions of the DBSRVR and DBCMD database servers shipped with DBISAM contain the bug in Sockets.pas described in the Technical Bulletins. This bug causes the number of maximum connections to be limited by the thread pool count.

Comments Comments and Workarounds
The only solution is to increase the ServerMainThreadCacheSize and ServerAdminThreadCacheSize properties in the TDBISAMEngine component to allow for more connections.
