# 1880 Using Illegal MAX(*) Expression in an SQL SELECT Column Expression Causes AV

It seems that every MAX(*) throws an AV, independent of the table, WHERE clause etc.

SELECT MAX(*) AS RecCount FROM BenutzerWaegestation WHERE ...

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 10/22/2004 in version 4.14 build 1
