# 2235 Temporary Table Creation Not Working on Non-Networked Machines

I installed the trial for EDB and most (but not all) of the demos throw the same exception "Project xxx.exe raised exception class EEDBException with message 'ElevateDB Error #406 Invalid temporary table identifier' when I try to run them.

Non-networked Windows machines don't have a computer name (NetBIOS machine name), so EDB was using an invalid table name since it was relying on the first part of the temporary table name to be the computer name.

There was also an issue with machines that were networked, but used a computer name that was exactly 15 characters in length. That would result in the same error as having no computer name defined.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 2/22/2007 in version 1.01 build 1
