# 2236 IDENTITY Column Definitions with No Seed Value or Increment Value Specified Causes an AV

When executing following DDL statement against CDCollector database in EDBManager I get A/V.

Access violation at address 0055C734 in module 'edbmgr.exe'. Read of address 00000000

CREATE TABLE TblGenerator2(
ID INTEGER GENERATED ALWAYS AS IDENTITY (START WITH 0, INCREMENT BY 1),
ID1 INTEGER GENERATED ALWAYS AS IDENTITY (START WITH 0),
ID2 INTEGER GENERATED ALWAYS AS IDENTITY,
Name VARCHAR(30)
)

Comments and Workarounds

The workaround is to always specify the seed and increment values.

Fixed Problem on 2/20/2007 in version 1.01 build 1
