# 2954 Trying to Open a Table in a Database with Read-Only Attributes Causes #401 "Table Not Found" Error

I tried to simulate making an EDB v2 database work on a CD/DVD disc (read only) on the hard drive and I cannot get it to work.

If I take my working app and change the attributes of all the files in the database folder to "Read Only" - I get the below error message.

"ElevateDB Error #700 An error was found in the statement at line 1 and column 15 (ElevateDB Error #401 The table or view tblMain does not exist)"

Changing it back...it works fine.
