# 3153 CopyOnAppend Not Copying BLOB Column Values Correctly

CopyOnAppend doesn't appear to be copying over the contents of CLOB or BLOB fields in EDB 2.03b8 unicode with D2009. With EDB Manager set to CopyOnAppend, I highlighed a record that has a populated CLOB field, pressed insert to create a new record, and then posted the new record after changing the primary key value so it will save. The contents of the CLOB field showed up in the field after the insert but disappeared when the record was posted.

The same occurs with BLOB fields. After the initial insert, the BLOB field shows the correct number of bytes but shows zero after it is posted.
