# 3252 Date/Time Formats for CAST and IMPORT/EXPORT TABLE Not Working Correctly without Separators

There is a little problem with DATE FORMAT string in CAST function when formatting string doesn't contains any separator. The following CAST call produces the error:

ElevateDB Error #1400 An error occurred with the statement at line 4 and column 21 (Error in the format string YYYYMMDD (Invalid year (y) component))

CAST(CURRENT_DATE AS VARCHAR DATE FORMAT 'YYYYMMDD')

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 7/22/2010 in version 2.03 build 18
