# 4538 Touch Events Not Firing on iPhone/iOS Devices
Since upgrading I find that none of my containers support touch scrolling on a mobile device anymore. Have tried setting Application.InertiaScrollStyle := asNone but it still has no effect. Rather than the content of the container scrolling (as it did previously) the entire app screen "bounces" up or down but the contents remain fixed.

The issue was with how the UI layer was detecting support for touch events and switching to using pointer events. Safari on iOS required a different implementation in order to work correctly.
