ElevateDB 2.35 with Linux and MacOS Support ReleasedPosted by Tim Young on Fri, Jul 9 2021
ElevateDB 2.35 is now available for download. If you're an existing customer, then you should be receiving an email shortly with download instructions.
The following are the new features in 2.35:
ElevateDB now includes support for 64-bit MacOS and Linux in RAD Studio 10.4.
ElevateDB now includes support for 64-bit Linux in Lazarus 2.x (FPC 3.2.0).
ElevateDB now includes a 64-bit Linux version of the ElevateDB Server that can be executed as a command-line application, as well as a Linux service/daemon. Please see the Starting and Configuring the ElevateDB Server for more information on how to install and start a Linux instance of the ElevateDB Server.
If you have customized the ElevateDB Server source project, please note that, due to the new ElevateDB Server Linux support, the project and its source code has changed quite a bit from prior versions. Please review your existing source code and compare it to the new ElevateDB Server source code in order to determine what you may need to change if you wish to also support Linux with your customized ElevateDB Server.
ElevateDB 2.35 also contains a few bug fixes, which are detailed here.
