Wrong - I know the difference between DBISAM and ElavateDB - one exists and the other is just a myth in Tim's mind Smiley

Yeah, I'm trying to hold off on it until ElevateDB is in pre-beta.  This is
mainly because I'll need a day or two to readjust my thinking and get the
4.x fixes straight.

I wish. Smiley If that were the case, then I might actually get to do
something fun besides work.

Arnd,

Unfortunately, it stopped being fun around March, when I had to rewrite the
indexing completely.  However, seeing the light at the end of the tunnel is
making things a little easier to deal with.

Let me guess - you had it working "perfectly" then you did something which made you say oh bother I never thought of that I'll just have to totally rewrite the indexing system to cope with it oh joy

You mean that there are others who do that sort of thing?
I've never mastered the "good enough" rule!

Tim,

hm... it is always the same. At least version 4 is a great product that
gives all we need and you the time for ElevateDB. Therefore take as much
time as required to come up with something that tops version 4.
