Wrong - I know the difference between DBISAM and ElavateDB - one exists and the other is just a myth in Tim's mind Roy Lambert |

<< I sort of remember that a new release of V4 was imminent ......... >> Yeah, I'm trying to hold off on it until ElevateDB is in pre-beta. This is mainly because I'll need a day or two to readjust my thinking and get the 4.x fixes straight. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

<< Thought that's ElevateDB >> Unfortunately, it stopped being fun around March, when I had to rewrite the indexing completely. However, seeing the light at the end of the tunnel is making things a little easier to deal with. -- Tim Young Elevate Software www.elevatesoft.com |

Let me guess - you had it working "perfectly" then you did something which made you say oh bother I never thought of that I'll just have to totally rewrite the indexing system to cope with it oh joy Roy |

Jon Lloyd Duerdoth | You mean that there are others who do that sort of thing?
I've never mastered the "good enough" rule! Jon Roy Lambert wrote: > Tim > >> Unfortunately, it stopped being fun around March, when I had to rewrite the >> indexing completely. Arnd Baranowski | Tim,
hm... it is always the same. At least version 4 is a great product that gives all we need and you the time for ElevateDB. Therefore take as much time as required to come up with something that tops version 4.
