# 1391 Specifying a Catalog Name Containing an Underscore in the ODBC Driver Causes Tables to Disappear

I set up a system DSN to one of my databases and all is great. Then I tried another database and it would not recognize any tables. After trying a couple of things, I discovered that if the database path has an underscore, say C:\_MTA then the
problem surfaced. If I remove the underscore it works as expected.

Comments and Workarounds

The problem was with the backslash escape character in combination with the underscore wildcard character.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 7/19/2003 in version 3.25 build 1
