# 1645Attempting to Edit a Record that Has Previously Been Deleted Results in an Unlock Error I hit one glitch which the help file suggests should be reported to Elevate:
Launch two instances of the same application accessing a database on a remote server.
Select the same customer record in both instances.
Delete the record in application A
Application B still shows the record because it is cached.
Edit the record in application B and the change notification feature of
DBISAM flushes the cache and positions the cursor on the previous record, in edit mode.
Cancel the edit - Cannot unlock record.
CommentsThe problem is not directly related to remote access only and can occur with local access also.
