# 2889 Incorrect Default Increment Values When Altering a Table in ElevateDB Manager

Just added a column into a table, I wanted an autoinc so ticked and clicked the right boxes, one thing I didn't note was the increment by box was zero.

It's something specific to Altering a table. The increment defaults to 1 when creating a new table, but it defaults to zero when you alter an existing table.
