# 3049 Migrating a DBISAM 3 Database Table Containing Formatted-Memo Fields Causes #700 Error
A customer is getting a 700 error on attempting to migrate DBISAM 3 data to EDB 1. I isolated the problem table which is empty. I tried re-indexing (forced rebuild) to no avail.

The issue was a source field with a type of ftFmtMemo, which was a Paradox-compatibility field type used in DBISAM 3.x and earlier.
