# 3553 Using 2.07 Build 1 Client with 2.08 Build 2 ElevateDB Server Can Cause Access Violations

When I replaced my ElevateDB Server 2.07 B1 with 2.08 B2, I got blobstream errors in the client application (2.07 B1).

Comments Comments
The problem could occur with several different calls, including editing a row, cancelling an edit, deleting a row, or manually locking/unlocking a row.

The problem was caused by the 2.08 B2 fix in incident report #3552. DO NOT deploy the 2.08 B2 ElevateDB Server under any circumstances if you have client applications using older versions of EDB. Instead, deploy the 2.08 B3 ElevateDB Server.
