# 4136 Reverse-Engineering Functionality Not Including Column Descriptions for ALTER COLUMN Clauses

When a character field length in a table differs between the two databases, the alter statement generated to adjust the field length does not include the field description resulting in the description being removed in the target database when the script is executed.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 12/14/2014 in version 2.18 build 3
