# 4683 Global I/O Buffering Flush Check Interval Not Working Properly

The flush check interval for the new global I/O buffering is not working, resulting in flushes not occurring until the buffers are full, a file is no longer being used, or the EDB Server being shut down (properly).

Comments Comments
This issue was present from 2.28 Build 2 (released June 21,2018) through 2.28 Build 5 (released August 2, 2018) and was fixed in Build 6 (released on August 17, 2018). The issue was fixed, but we failed to add an incident report for the fix as part of Build 6, so this incident report was added *after* the build was released.
