# 3814 Text Selection Not Working Properly in Chrome Browser

There is something affecting the selection of text in edit boxes. In any other web page (like this incident form), I can click on the middle of a text box and then drag the mouse around to select the text. If I drag down and out of the box, the selection continues to work, and I can drag left to select all of the text.

With EWB applications and the TEdit, the selection typically stops working with a few characters not selected. This may be because the mouse moves over some other element. Hmm, indeed - if I have two TEdits, and a TLabel in between, the drag selections stop working over the TLabel, but when back over the second TEdit, the selection in the first is working properly.
