# 4418 Trying to Show the Messages Panel with an Active Find In Units Search Causes Error in the IDE
I get this error message:

"Cannot focus a disabled or invisible window"

in the IDE when choosing the menu "View / Message" and the "Messages" window has an active "serach for xyz" tabsheet.
