# 4873 Assigning a Component a Duplicate Name on a Form/Database and Trying to Navigate Away Causes Loop

I noticed one other thing last night, if a form or a component gets the name of a component assigned, it enters an endless loop where you cannot fix it or save. The trick to solving it is Alt Del to delete one of the components - or reboot the computer. Eg, label2 is accidentally assigned the name label1, EWB lets you do the assignment, but then complains non-stop and won't let you fix it. It should complain before doing the assignment.
