# 878 Restructuring a Table and Removing a Field that is Before another Indexed Field Causes AV

I've imported a DBF file using BDETran. I check that I've got al 1749 records. At this point there are no indexes, so I don't have to worry about duplicate keys etc. Many of the fields are redundant in the new version of the prog, so I use DBsys to restucture the file, and remove the unwanted fields. Now I re-open the table and it's empty! If I save the new structure after removing a single field, it works fine, and I can repeat this process 49 times - (i.e. restructure, delete field, save, for each of the unwanted fields) but
this seems a bit over the top.

The problem was caused by an AV in the restructuring code that was causing records to be removed.
