# 954 SQL INSERT Statements Appending NULL Byte to End of Memo Columns

I get different results when adding a record and setting one field when using an SQL insert statement to using a table append. The demo app attached has just an autoinc field and a memo field, the difference is that when adding a record via SQL I get an additional trailing #0 in the memo field.
