# 1228 Cancelling a Restructure After a Key Violation Causes Index File to Be Corrupted

I imported two tables from MS Access to DBISAM via bdetran.exe (as dbase files). (PROD and CUST)

I was playing with the DBSYS utilities menu options and ...

1) Error 11047 Unknown operating system error with table PROD.IDX ( Win2000 ) I went to restructure, picked a field and set it as primary index. Warning that some data loss would occur if I continue (I have some duplicate entries for that field) and I said no, don't continue. I then went to optimize and got the error and the table disappeared off the list even though the files were still on the
server.Looks like an .ibk file was created which was locked when I requested the restructure and was never released when I canceled. I had to stop the DB service, delete the files and re-import the tables.
