# 2603 Closing a Remote Session Causes the Server to Enter a Hard Loop

Closing a session with the server causes the server process to go to 100% CPU usage.

Simply start the ElevateDB Server, then create a new session in the Elevate DB Manager against, for example the tutorial config, and with type set to "remote".

After successful connect then disconnect, or on login abort, the server process will go to 100% CPU usage.

Comments Comments
An OS event object was changed in 1.09 B2 in a way that caused it to not get reset, thus causing the server's session thread to not go into the proper wait state.
