Setup a remote EDB 2 server with a local store on the remote server.  

Use either compression on or off (I tried both level 0 and level 6).
Setup a local EDB 2 database with a local store and a remote store 
that points to the server's store.
Using the COPY FILE statement, try to copy a file (any size) from the
local store to the remote store.  I get error #1306, cannot write to
file.  However, I can copy between two local stores or from the remote
store down to the local store, just cannot upload to the remote store.
