# 2793 Delphi 5 Loses All Settings when ElevateDB Design-Time Package is Loaded

When I install v2.01b5 to Delphi 5 all the library paths disappear.

Attempting to put them back doesn't work: they appear to save OK, but when recalled are gone.

Uninstalling ElevateDB fixes the problem, the library paths are back.

Re-installing causes them to dissappear again.

This problem doesn't happen with Delphi 7 (I have only tried with Delphi 5 and 7).

Comments

This was only an issue with Delphi 5. Delphi 6 or higher did not have this issue. The problem was caused by the fix for incident report # 2751.

Resolution

Fixed Problem on 9/20/2008 in version 2.02 build 1
