# 2795 Editing a Session in the ElevateDB Manager Can Cause "Session Name is Missing" Error

I'm getting some weird errors with new EDBManager - if i edit the session then i'm unable to connect to session it until I restart EDBManager (error is : Session name is missing).

Steps:
- start EDBManager
- connect to default session : OK
- disconnect from default session : OK
- Edit default session : just press OK when edit session dialog opens
- now connect session : error "Session name is missing"

When i edit the session again then name is actually missing. Restarting the EDBManager fixes it (until you try to edit again)

Also happens to my own (non-default) sessions. If i try to edit the session and put name back then it does not take it (enter name, press OK, still same error and name missing). If i type in some other name it creates a new session which is usable -
until you try to edit it again.

Comments Comments and Workarounds
The workaround is to restart the EDB Manager after editing the session.
