# 3370 Restoring a Backup Created Using EXCLUDE PUBLISHED UPDATES Clause Causes Error

I have a published database and then execute a backup using the ‘EXCLUDE PUBLISHED UPDATES’ clause. After restoring this backup, trying to open any published table generates the following error:

ElevateDB Error #601 The table <TableName> is corrupt (Error reading header from disk)

Comments Comments and Workarounds
The workaround is to delete any .edbpbl files with a size of 0 from the database directory after restoring.
