# 3427 ElevateDB Server Not Cleaning Up Dead Sessions Properly

EDB 2.05 build 6 Unicode is not properly cleaning up dead sessions.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Open a session in EDB Manager connected to a local EDB server.

2. Start Windows Task manager.

3. Click on the “Processes” tab, highlight EDB Manager, and click the “End Process” button. EDB Manager has to be terminated from the processes tab as “End Tasking” it from the Application tab closes it gracefully and removes the session immediately.

4. The session will show disconnected immediately, but will remain on the session list indefinitely and any locks associated with the session remain active until the session is manually removed.

Comments Comments
The internal procedure for checking for dead sessions was commented out during development and non un-commented.
