# 3492 Importing an Export File Created Using ElevateDB Can Cause Quote Characters To Be Removed

We’ve found that when we export CSV that contains XML, the XML doesn’t import properly. If we have a node with an attribute foo=””, it will export as foo=””””, and then import as foo=”, leaving us with corrupted XML.

Comments Comments
The problem was specifically related to importing text that contained quote characters that were right next to each other, i.e. the quote characters were escaped by ElevateDB during the export process.
