# 4269 Auto-Saving Saving Units But Not Saving Project Before a Compilation

Create a new EWB2 project. Create a button on the form. F9 to run, and it asks to save. Save the form. Compile again, and you get "output directory does not exist". So you go to project, click on that tab, click OK. "Do you want to create the output directory?" Yes. F9 to compile, directory does not exist.

Comments and Workarounds

The workaround is to manually save the project.
