# 4454 OnShow Event Not Firing at Runtime when a TGrid Control is Present on a Form Instance
I am experiencing a situation where the OnShow event is not firing for a form.

The problem was caused by a fix that was added to 2.05 for the grid control to deal with IE's focus behavior (it posts focus messages to the browser's UI thread instead of excecuting them synchronously).
